Visit to DeGrado Lab (a research lab at UCSF with research focusing on small molecule and protein design as an approach to understanding macromolecule structure and function).
Design thinking and search for ideas: how to find an idea that solves a socially meaningful problem and is profitable.” The program participants will be given a wide context to support their search for acute problems of the modern age. Together with mentors they will visit innovative organizations and educational institutions. At the end of the "educational" tour each team will determine a number of issues that they will be working on during the remainder of the program. A business game for middle and high school students about design thinking and how it can help build a team.
